I Put My New Shoes On Tonight

Enzo Angiolini

I wasn't searching for shoes, they just found me... Well technically I was in the shoe section of Nordstrom Rack and technically I had been on the hunt for shoes for my 21st birthday but I did not plan on finding these! I had seen these shoes on Black Friday at Nordstrom and almost bought them but then I got distracted and walked away from them to look at Hunter boots. The next day I went back to purchase the shoes and they were gone! Who would have thought over a month later I would find them for half off at Nordstrom Rack! I am so excited that I purchased these shoes. They are stunning in person, an almost purple pink (we can call it fuchsia), and the best part is that they are comfortable! They aren't quite worthy of being my 21 run shoes for my 21st in Vegas but they definitely will make an appearance during my trip there.

What do y'all think of them?!

I am keeping my eye out for jaw-dropping gorgeous pumps for my 21 run! I want sparkles and height. If y'all have any suggestions send them my way!

The Girly Girl

I would have to say that I am the "typical" girly girl. I love bows, the color pink, items that sparkle, shopping, clothes, nail polish, charm, and well the list goes on and on. For me being a "girly girl" doesn't mean that I don't like to sweat or get dirty but that I do so my own way while enjoying what others like. I may be trekking through mud in Hunter Boots with a lululemon headband on, but I am going to do my best to enjoy it. Being a girly girl in my mind means having the grace to appreciate other peoples opinions. And while seeing and exploring other's opinions I will be doing so my own way, meaning pink, pearls and lilly will be involved.

Whats your take on the term girly girl? Do you use grace when trying new things that you normally may not try?

Hey Y'all!

I leave for Europe today so my posts won't be coming super frequent. I have scheduled a few posts throughout the month though so keep checking back!

Hope your Januarys are fun and that you are able to get good use out of your Hunter Boots and winter sweaters!

New Years Eve Fitted

Happy soon to be NYE!

My requirements for my NYE outfit include: sparkles, glitter, glamour, glitter and more glitter.

This year was my first year purchasing a real NYE dress! I looked at several stores until I found the perfect dress! Forever 21, Nordstrom and H&M all had great dresses, skirts and shirts with tons of sparkle! I ended up deciding on this great number from Nordstrom (below). It was on sale at a steal of a price and I just love the style of it. I have been wanting a dress with gold in it so I could not believe it when I saw this dress online! It fits like a glove and I am sure to dazzle in it all night long.

Here are some great options that were close seconds for the night!

Love the pattern that is on this dress. Silver goes with everything and since the dress is a nude/light pink you could really play with the accessory colors! I would add pinks and purples into the mix.

Amaze dress that would be a definite statement. Nice high-low style that is currently right on trend. The color is also gorgeous and would look great on tan skin like pictured.

Relatively cheap dress that is still super cute. Great mixture of textures as well as fits. Nice and tight on top then poofs out at the waist!

I plan on wearing some accessories with my dress as well but I am not quite sure of what yet! Here are a few gorgeous pieces I am considering!

This headband would look great with my gold dress. I like how my dress only has gold on the bottom, so when I add gold accessories it won't be overkill!

I love these shoes! The purple is gorgeous! They also come in black and taupe. The multicolor soles just add's more sparkle, fun and glam to them. And they are on sale, with a reasonable price its hard to resist these shoes.

This necklace is stunning! I don't plan on wearing it with my dress on NYE but if my dress had hints of blue's and green's I definitely would.

I am LOVING these earrings. They come in seven different colors, and are a definite statement piece of jewelry. It's great how different shades of a color are used to add depth to the piece.

OMG. Talk about sparkle. These bracelets would add true glam to any NYE outfit. Love how it comes in so many different colors. I would snag this bracelet in gold and crystal.

I hope these dress and accessory ideas have helped!

What are y'all planning on wearing on NYE?!

Have a fabulous night! And I will see you in the New Year!

Reindeer Cookies

Christmas is right around the corner (TOMORROW!) so I decided to get in the HOLIDAY spirit! Reindeer cookies are simple, tasty and fun to make, and the best part is that they only contain 5 ingredients (4 if you really want).

Ingredients:
-Nutterbutter cookies (I used one pack, roughly 30 cookies)
-Chocolate (dark, milk... whatever you prefer)
-Redhots (or M&M's) for the nose
-Sprinkles (the little ball kind, any color will do. I used green and white to stay in the christmas spirit) for the eyes
- Pretzels

Directions:
1.Melt your chocolate.
2. Dip Nutterbutter in chocolate.
3. Place pretzel on top of Nutterbutter (as pictured).
4. Place redhot in general nose area.
5. Add eyes!
6. Let set.
7. EAT!

Reindeer cookies so simple, and really helped me get in that HoHoHoliday spirit!

What do y'all think of these tasty treats? Let me know if you plan on making them or have and how they turned out!
