Decorated Alcohol Bottle {DIY}

My dear friend Carolyn is turning 21 this weekend so I decided to make her a gift fit for someone at the legal age to drink!

 I picked up a fifth of Captain Morgan (Coconut Flavor), 3 bags of gems, and used a hot glue gun to decorate the bottle.  I got medium and small sized gems and separated them into two bowls, then started by hot gluing a straight line across the bottom of the bottle, then placed a row of gems on the glue. I used the medium sized gems first and then filled in with the smaller gems. I left both the front and back label open so she would be able to tell it was an alcohol bottle.

All the supplies (minus hot glue gun)

Front side all finished

 Side one all finished

Finished product with fun drink recipe and note attached!

The whole process took about an hour, it was super easy and fun to do. I know she is going to love the gift and will keep the bottle forever as the bottle can turn into a flower vase!

If y'all have any questions on how to do this great DIY feel free to ask!

xx, Dallas
