First Introduction Of Lilly

When I first heard about Lilly Pulitzer I was unsure of what to expect. As I gazed over the website I knew that it was love at first sight. From the bright colors to the pretty patterns I knew that I had found a designer that fit my style.  It took me over a year and a half to purchase my first Lilly item, your guess is as good as mine as to why it took me so long and the item should be arriving soon! 

Yesterday my dear friend cHg was over and I showed her the Lilly website, she loved everything about it especially the Georgie dress that I plan on getting! She had heard about Lilly before from a mutual friend of ours who is in Kappa Alpha Theta but she had not really looked at the clothing. cHg loving Lilly and wanting to purchase a few items is a step in the correct direction for introducing Lilly to Washington and creating more Lilly lovers! Carolyn's reactions makes me look forward to going back to school in August and showing my friends what Lilly is all about! 

As Lilly would say "The Lilly girl is always full of surprises. She lives everyday like a celebration, never has a dull moment and makes every hour a happy hour."  I plan on doing just this!

There Is A First Time For Everything

Hello, and welcome to my blog! This is my first real attempt at blogging and I am excited to explore it! I recently found my love for Lilly Pulitzer and have become addicted. I am awaiting the arrival of my Lilly agenda, as well as Academic stickers to put in it and a cute new croakie that has one of my favorite Lilly quotes on it! 

The purpose of my blog is to share a perspective of someone who is just coming into the Lilly world and is not from the South! Hardly any of my friends here on the West coast have heard of Lilly and I plan on changing that! I also plan on sharing style tips as well as fun things I will be doing during my Junior year of college and all of the fashion finds that I find!
